Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning of Filters
Ensure that the filters are clean and correctly installed. Dirty filters can decrease washing results and cause issues with the appliance's functionality.
Check Spray Arms
Before starting a program, make sure that the spray arms can move freely and are not clogged. If the holes in the spray arms are clogged, remove any remaining parts of soil with a thin pointed object.
Rinse Aid Dispenser
Fill the rinse aid dispenser as needed and ensure it is not overfilled. The rinse aid helps in achieving better drying results and prevents streaks on dishes.
Salt Container Maintenance
Ensure the cap of the salt container is tight and the container is filled as required. This helps in preventing corrosion and ensures optimal water softening.
Regular Long Duration Programs
Run long duration programs at least twice a month to prevent grease and limescale deposits inside the appliance, especially if short duration programs are regularly used.
